As a result of repeated requests by both players and parents, we have decided to incorporate a Winter League into the annual Jr. Team Tennis USA schedule. This gives juniors the opportunity to keep in top tennis condition, and provides valuable match play time for those school team players. The 2010 Winter League commences on January 23, with the season finale Grand Jamboree on March 6. There will then be a break before the Spring League commences at a date yet to be announced. We will be continuing with the Tencap ratings system. This has proved popular with players being able to see how their rating trend which indicates the direction and by how much their new rating will be when it is re-set after 8 games. It also allows pros and parents to see how many computer points their team has, and how likely their team will be hoisting the champions trophies at season end. |
